1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy too.

2. What We Use

2.1 No Cookies on Our Website

invoicestack.app sets no cookies. There are no accounts, no logins and no advertising on the site, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to accept.

2.2 Statistics Without Cookies

To understand which pages are useful, we count page views and clicks on some buttons (for example Buy now, the free trial, the video and the Chrome Web Store links) with Umami, a privacy-friendly statistics tool that we run on our own server in the EU. Umami:

• sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device;
• does not store your IP address and does not build a profile of you;
• shows us only aggregate figures, such as the number of visits to a page;
• shares no data with third parties.

Because no information is stored on or read from your device for these statistics, they do not require consent. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6.1.f).

2.3 Your Display Preference

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (is-theme) so the site remembers it on your next visit. It is set only when you use the switch, never leaves your device and can be removed by clearing your browser data.

2.4 Checkout (Lemon Squeezy)

When you click a buy or free trial button, the checkout of Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, opens in a window on the page. Lemon Squeezy may set the cookies it needs to process the payment safely. These cookies are set only after you open the checkout and are governed by the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.

2.5 What We Do NOT Use

We do not use:

• Google Analytics or other third-party analytics
• Advertising or targeting cookies
• Social media tracking pixels
• Third-party profiling cookies

3. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• Delete all cookies and site data
• Block all cookies by default
• Allow cookies only from specific sites
• Set cookies to expire when you close the browser
